Alexandra Kobylecky, P.Eng. currently manages three materials testing laboratories in Ontario. Alex’s daily tasks include: overseeing operations, ensuring safety and quality standards are followed, ensuring financial targets are met and developing the lab business. She connects the labs with other divisions across Canada on collaborative projects allowing Acuren to provide integrated services to clients. Prior to this role, Alex worked as a materials engineer conducting failure analysis investigations at one of the Acuren labs she currently manages. Before Acuren, she worked at three other materials testing and engineering labs. Alex graduated with a degree in Materials Science and Engineering in 2016 from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
Alex loves to problem-solve. Whether the problem is technical, operational, financial or business related, she enjoys a challenge and likes figuring out the most practical solution. She likes to apply her skills and experience as a materials engineer to support her teams and jump in to help however she can.
