September 06, 2011
The National Association of Employee Concerns Professionals (NAECP) was established in 1988 and consists of managers, attorneys and HR professionals from a broad range of industries, including nuclear power, oil & gas, petroleum refining and chemical processing as well as the Department of Energy. By collaborating with organizations such as the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the NAECP is influential in shaping regulation and business practices towards improving work environments and safety cultures.
Rockwood has actively participated in the NAECP for several years and currently serves on the planning committee of NAECP’s Fall 2011 Conference.
Since joining the NAECP, Rockwood has hired Jessica Linquist as our Employee Concerns Manager and implemented a number of other best practices in areas such as ensuring that we have a Safety Conscious Work Environment and an environment where employees are comfortable raising safety, quality and any other concerns
Per Peter Scannell, President of Rockwood, “World-class performance comes from the active, sustained efforts and interaction of our technicians, managers and clients.
We are committed to the continuous improvement of our business, Inherent to this is our commitment to listen and to respond to issues and concerns and to do so in real time.”
The goal is simple – ensuring that Rockwood and all of its companies (RAT, Acuren, Sperry and Hellier) is a great place to work.
