Pulp & Paper
We have long-standing relationships with many of the leading pulp & paper companies in North America, providing them with a range of services to reduce unplanned downtime and improve the profitability of their operations.
Planned outages are the focal point of our work in this industry. Our project managers are highly capable of assisting in planning project scope and adept at dealing with the complexities of running large jobs on tight timetables; our staff includes experts with deep experience in examining recovery boilers, digesters, mud drums and other critical equipment; our BEAM (Boiler Examination and Analysis Module) software is widely recognized as the best reporting tool in the industry.
Our site managers have extensive experience integrating NDT crews with plant maintenance operations; services available include mechanical integrity (compliance to PSM), Risk Based Inspection (RBI), NDT Level III (i.e., provide sign off of NDT per client request and requirements), support of owner-user integrity management system, project and turn around NDT supervision (i.e., administration, safety/quality, planning/scheduling), and audit services.
Additionally all the above services can be provided to support engineering and capital projects in ensuring compliance to code and regulatory requirements which include visual inspections (AWS – CWI, API – 510, 570, and 653), NDT project coordination, regulatory compliance, safety/quality, and audit services.
We believe the Acuren difference is our commitment to reliability: qualified, certified and capable technicians; using properly calibrated equipment; following current and correct procedures; working efficiently and safely every day.
