Your Career with Acuren
NDT technicians move from entry level trainee through Level I and ultimately Level II in one or more of the principal NDT methods, which include Penetrant (PT) , Magnetic Testing (MT) , Radiographic Testing (RT) , Ultrasonic Testing (UT) , Eddy Current (ET) and Visual Inspection (VT). Your certification, skills and experiences helps shape the nature of assignments you’ll work on.
As you gain more experience, you’ll likely develop an interest and increasing skill in one area. This might be inspection work in large plants, field based inspection of pipelines, laboratory type environment inspection of aerospace parts, or mixture of weekly assignments to a variety of plants, fabricators, and infrastructure located around your base of operation. You may be interested working for a period of time at one of our long term project sites. Often these sites are in remote areas, but afford the opportunity to work a lot of hours in a short period.
